Snow Cover in the USA

Buried within NOAA there is the National Weather Service (NWS) and a host of other agencies. Despite almost three decades I've been prowling the internet and the USA webpages, I still find new and interesting departments. Within NOAA's Climate, there is the U.S. National Ice Center (NATIC). Their maps include both daily and archived snow and ice coverage. Traveling? Skiing? Have a look.

Burlington County's new DMR repeater

In the early morning hours of January 9, 2020, Burlington County's first amateur radio DMR repeater was installed and activated. It replaced the KC2QVT–448.325 MHz analog repeater in Westampton. The DMR installation fills a gap between the DMR repeaters WR3IRS–433.300 Waterford Works to the south and N3KZ–443.650 Lawrenceville to the north. To update your DMR radio's codeplug, select from these KC2QVT NJ-Turbo talkgroups.
